I have a column today in the New York Post on Andrew Cuomo, Zohran Mamdani, and the “sexual harassment” accusations Mamdani played an under-recognized role in amplifying a few years ago, which eventually forced Cuomo’s ouster as governor.
It's cringe on both sides, but the jihadist thing is widely seen as a desperate smear as it should be while sexual misconduct isn't questioned at all. That's the problem.
The whole jihadist thing doesn't mix well with the woke stuff that Mamdani peddles (Muslims for transgenderism?). I actually think Mamdani is a good fit for the sewer NY has become, alas.
Though I am suspicious, I don't know for sure that Cuomo is a sexual predator. I do know that he is an racist, bigoted Islamophobe; a cheerleader for genocide in Gaza; and a faciitator of corporate greed.
Michael there are 13 women who have accused Cuomo of sexual misconduct. You've attacked the credibility of one of them and then suggested that this resolves the debate. Do you ever consider that people don't take you seriously because you don't act seriously?
The other women only contrived additional accusations after the discredited chief accuser, Charlotte Bennett, colluded with another huckster, Lindsey Boylan, to "get the ball rolling." And pressured others to "corroborate" them. As I noted in the NY Post, these later accusers include women who claim they were abused by taking a selfie with Cuomo, which they affectionately displayed on their desk, only to later decide it was sexually abusive after Charlotte Bennett introduced her absurd claims. Or how about the woman who claims she was abused by Cuomo saying at a public COVID press conference that she "looked good" in her medical gown. The only claim of what would've been legitimate sexual assault (groping under a blouse) fell apart and was dropped. I think you're the one who's not acting very seriously, as you clearly haven't examined the underlying details, and instead are relying on the inflated "13 women" number. Curtis Sliwa did the same thing when I interviewed him. Not a care in the world for the actual details.
Lindsey Boylan is a high-functioning Cluster B sociopath with a Chelsea address and a $5 million loft financed by her husband in private equity. On paper, she is composed and accomplished—a former aide in the Cuomo administration, impeccably dressed, fluent in the language of moral outrage. In practice, her colleagues recall something closer to pathology: sudden tirades, calculated humiliations, and the slow corrosion of everyone beneath her. No one ever wronged her; she was the aggressor, inflicting damage less visible but no less deliberate. Her life is a continuous performance of grievance and virtue, arranged to elicit sympathy, envy, and control in equal measure. Given the pattern, it would not be altogether surprising if she one day announced a claim on the Epstein legal fund—another stage, another performance, another chance to be both victim and beneficiary.
I could see at the time that the "sexual harassment" case was contrived bs. It was infuriating because he should've been impeached for his horrific nursing home policy which killed so many. Too many others involved in that though so they dredged up the sexual nonsense. New York deserves whichever they get.
That's right. It's like the Dems impeaching Trump twice on nonsense, and ignoring his real and easily proved crimes. Now, when they really should be impeaching him, they don't dare. Trump's existence is all they have to run on, so why would they get rid of him now?
Forcing retirement homes not physically setup to isolate covid positive residents to accept them back anyway to clear bed space in hospitals for more lucrative patients obviously and statistically led to an increase in covid fatalities at those homes.
Where did i say he’s a sexual predator? These pieces of it should be left to defend themselves. Micheal had a weird but predictable habit of defending them, with a seemingly particular antipathy towards women.
Yes, but by Cuomo without the assistance of anyone else unless they are hired by him. Nobody knows what actually happened other than Cuomo and the thirteen women who accused him, so Micheal isn’t “refuting” anything, he’s just - as he creepily usually does - sharing his opinion which just happens to be in defence of Trump, Epstein, Cuomo…. and always attacking women.
I voted for Sliwa in 2021 (yes, I’m one of the inmates), and I would again in a straight-up race, mostly because he’s the Republican and I’m one of many whose attitude toward the Democrats since 2020 has migrated from cynical acceptance to outright revulsion.
But while there’s no big reason to vote against Sliwa – the worst things he seems to have done in public life were staging crime-fighting escapades decades ago in the early days of his Guardian Angels group – there’s also no real reason to support him or think he is up to the job: his entire career has been limited to getting publicity and talking (which is ok as far as it goes, since his day job for a long time has been as talk-radio personality). He’s smart and well-informed (moreso than his Noo Yawk dese and dose persona might often project), but has never built or accomplished anything that’s discernible to me, other than maybe some small-scale good works in the animal-welfare area, nor has he ever run a real organization.
So I’m not going to find it too difficult to do the strategic vote for Cuomo to try to stop Mamdani, since Cuomo’s current chameleon color scheme is more in line with where I am now, with my support for him slightly juiced by the desire to see the #MeToo garbage Michael describes here repudiated.
Michael, you are like a valiant Ronin upholding the Bushido way, but for defending sex freaks and weirdos. You gotta respect a community looking out for their own.
Boylan seems like a pleasant, refined, nice lady...and since turnabout is fair play, I would bet she was projecting, and daddy wasn't in her life. I did my own research, and the third word in her Instagram profile is "Feminist." Hypothesis Confirmed.
Keep it up Michael and continue to follow the evidence not the hype. Her response to your question is revealing, and I would let her go if she was on my team.
Tracey’s existence proves there’s still a market for sanity, albeit a niche one. The guy’s like industrial bug spray for moral panics — one whiff and the whole outrage ecosystem drops dead. It’s funny watching the same journalists who worship ‘speaking truth to power’ melt down whenever he actually does it.
M. Tracey has worked a near miracle: he has made me sympathize with that reptile Cuomo!
Eh, He's still a jerk. Cuomo, not Tracey.
Why do you have a paid subscription?
Well, maybe Mandami figured that if Cuomo can make inferences that he’s some kind of jihaddist and use images of 911, anything is fair game.
Good to see you justifying lying about sexual assault, just so Mamdani can win, let lots of rapists out of prison, and lead to actual sexual assault.
Thank you for being the only (?) one doing the proper journalistic work on this issue (and many other issues for that matter)
Yes thank God he is running cover for Epstein, will no one think of the Jewish child rapists?
Sob!
Though I am suspicious, I don't know for sure that Cuomo is a sexual predator. I do know that he is an racist, bigoted Islamophobe; a cheerleader for genocide in Gaza; and a faciitator of corporate greed.
All true. Mamdani should have taken the high road, and didn't. This is typical of both the major Parties today.
Maybe Cuomo is falsely accused of sexual misbehavior. It does not compensate for him being a genocide supporter.

Thanks for digging into this stuff. Gold diggers once again ruin another man’s life. For them, it’s a job.
As for the Boylan question at the presser, do you think “coming in a little hot” is a bit of an understatement?
It’s odd really. You’re far more calm and measured on the page.
Next time zip your pants my man.
By the way, are unzipped pants more triggering than cigar boxes?
You ended by calling her a disgrace. Arguably she is one but…
that’s a bit on the nose no?
For a wee second I almost felt bad for Boylan but then I remembered the disgraceful cigar box scam. Also, she drug your Mom into the whole thing, so…
she’ll be a real asset to Mamdani.

He's getting his payback thankfully, I notice Glenn Greenwald dropped him as a guest host or guest.

No one even remembers what he did to nursing homes - that is how far we have gotten away from holding anyone accountable, for anything at all.
How exactly did his policy cause people in nursing homes to die?
Forcing retirement homes not physically setup to isolate covid positive residents to accept them back anyway to clear bed space in hospitals for more lucrative patients obviously and statistically led to an increase in covid fatalities at those homes.
Quelle surprise, Micheal is making excuses for another sleazy asshole.
Why do you equate with refuting something as an excuse for that person?
If it's a lie, it's a lie and just because it helps our cause of not having Cuomo win, we shouldn't rely on it and be mad at the truth.
So what if he's possibly not a sexual predator.
We all know he's a total asshole and used COVID to injure many.
Where did i say he’s a sexual predator? These pieces of it should be left to defend themselves. Micheal had a weird but predictable habit of defending them, with a seemingly particular antipathy towards women.
My point was that he's not excusing Cuomo for anything by pointing out that one of his bad marks was likely a lie.
It's antipathy to women to question their stories when they say contradictory things?
You are starting to sound like the "me too" movement which at one point supported blind belief in claims. Flimsy claims should be challenged.
All claims should be challenged, flimsy or no.
Why doesn’t anyone vote for Sliwa? He seems a good candidate… but little press

All you need is the accusation these days on the left…which is why more and more men are drifting right.
Boylan seems like a pleasant, refined, nice lady...and since turnabout is fair play, I would bet she was projecting, and daddy wasn't in her life. I did my own research, and the third word in her Instagram profile is "Feminist." Hypothesis Confirmed.
So, because Cuomo's team of lawyers delayed and intimidated this young woman it alleviates his guilt. 13 more to go.
Cuomo will do as much irreparable harm to NYC as Mamdani.
Curtis Sliwa is the only hope for this city.
Mamdani or Cuomo will only reside over it's burial.
Keep beating the drum, Michael.
Keep it up Michael and continue to follow the evidence not the hype. Her response to your question is revealing, and I would let her go if she was on my team.
