FAR more important than any Epstein talk is the phenomenon of Andrew Schultz. I have seen him in multiple outlets including a full two hour Megyn Kelly show. I do not understand how he can even be classified as a comedian. Has he ever written or uttered a single funny thing? Please drop your Epstein investigations and being a full, thorough look into how this Schultz thing happened. It is far more pressing!

He wasn’t calling you a pedophile, he just assumed you were a member of the North American Marlon Brando Lookalike Association, for some reason.

Still better than being an attractive pedophile. But admittedly it’s

worse than being mistaken for On the Waterfront Brando.

Weird article by a weird dude about another weird dude

Seems like the point was to downplay the extent of the Jeffery Epstein affair. Just one Adult Prostitute, 21 years old, old enough to drink.

Didn't spend much time on Nick Bryant's claim to fame, the Franklin scandal... Too much work? Making the point that your target crackpot once did good work would undermine your case?

Of course you never said that there weren't 100 victims involved in Jeffrey Epsteins sex trafficking network. Only that there weren't 100 in the so called black book.

You never said that there weren't over 100 women who got settlements from Epstein's estate. No you just gave the example that Giuffre wasn't trustworthy, her photographic evidence was questionable, and the one women who was An Adult actually started playing the victim only once she sniffed a payout.

So I guess I'd just say, you sure didn't say a lot.

Again, a well written counter to the "facts that everyone knows". Excellent.

Don't do an interview unless you're loaded up on some tranquilizers and can slow down to presenting only the most relevant facts and not the usual blizzard no one can see through.

Now, I reluctantly (very reluctantly) have to ask how you are able to put all this together. I know I wouldn't be able to do it if I devoted years of my life to nothing else. OTOH, you do have a maniacal personality that would insist on discovery.

I apologize for asking because there's no answer you can possibly give that will ever be "good enough". It is just another rabbit hole for us all to travel down.

Apophenia as Snowden would label it.

Is this Child sex trafficking story just another "outrageous myth" that the Madison Avenue guys made up for the Oligarchy? A huge distraction so we won't see the Genocide in Gaza?

Whether the pedo story is true or not, there's a lot more to Epstein than Child Porn. I encourage you to call this a "distraction" and concentrate instead on the Criminals who promote such fables.

Good Luck.

A person can be a victim of a criminal without knowing it.

A person can be a victim of a criminal and believe that the criminal is helpful, benevolent and generous.

A person can be a victim of a criminal, know they're a victim of that criminal, but refuse to criticize or testify against that criminal out of fear.

A person can be a victim of a criminal, fear that criminal for a time but then later gain confidence and courage, overcome their fear of the criminal, and testify against that criminal.

A person can be a victim of a criminal, fear that criminal for a time but then later experience a level of greed that overcomes their fear of the criminal, and testify against that criminal.

All of these things and more can be true about victims. These things do not mean that a criminal is innocent.

This is I guess shocking but not surprising, given that Bryant worked at Gawker Media. I have yet to really look into his material, because I've been consumed with working on getting through Ryan Dawson and Darryl Cooper's discussion, and just finished Whitney Webb's audiobook. I think ultimately all of these characters are working on very big assumptions. Btw I wrote a response to your debate with Dawson.

You're using the same flimsy logic he's using.

He didn't actually accuse you of being a pedophile, did he? He just asserted that you have visited NAMBLA. What does "visiting NAMBLA" really even mean?

If asserting that someone "visited NAMBLA" is the same as calling someone a pedophile, then I guess by that logic, asserting that a person has an entry in Epstein's black book means they are an Epstein "victim."

Dude, your thought process is going off the rails.

If readers are interested in the type of document that Mr. Tracey must grapple with to understand the state of human trafficking in the USA, here is the University of South Florida document for 2024 that estimates the number of trafficked persons, 500,000, and the number of those for sex, 200,000, and the number of those who are minors, 100,000 in the state of Florida, alone. https://usf.app.box.com/s/yyub2nzjao514cjbzow7uflrn1c0kl8c/file/1907389717649

No. Understanding the extent of human/sex trafficking in the USA is very difficult. It is a pet peeve of Mr. Tracey that non-profits working to diminish h/s trafficking make claims about the number of victims that seem too high or unsubstantiated. This document from USF is a great example of how these numbers are calculated. Read it and tell me what you think. Mr. T would think these are very high numbers for the whole country. I don't know if he would find fault with the representative sample survey used to calculate the numbers.

Expand full comment
Spencer's avatar

I skimmed through it. I can’t comment on the methodology that estimated ~200k sex trafficked minors, but it seems that a lot of this is dysfunctional teens from broken homes who use drugs and trade their bodies for sex. Given the estimated numbers, I find the low number of prosecutions (173 between 2000-2022) surprisingly low. Whatever the actual numbers, it’s sad, but not indicative of elite pedo cabals, which is what the Epstein fuss is about. And Tracey is still correct that Bryant is pushing misinformation based on the studies he’s quoting.

What do you say to those who would say “intel agencies operate under clandestine circumstance. Their entire modus operendai is one of plausible deniability, meaning there is little direct evidence and in order to build the case we must evaluate the circumstantial evidence.”

If this sounds conspiratorial, I admit it is. However what are people left to do when their government, for one reason or another, will not disclose the truth?

Craig's avatar

Mr. Tracey, I appreciate your skepticism, and you shouldn't be attacked for asking for receipts.

Estimates are not evidence.

I am deeply troubled that this is where we're at years later with Epstein. I wish the people who are so eager to believe the worst would realize, whenever anybody makes anything up, it weakens everything and makes justice for those that need it even more elusive than it already is.

Journalists should always be truth seekers. I hope Breaking Points is more cautious on this story going forward. They are currently the best news/commentary program out there, so I am going to give them a little slack. I had hopes for many podcasts and outlets that showed initial promise and then totally sold out in one form or another (The Free Press, NewsNation, Quillette, and single-personality podcasts). There is a certain justice in the Epstein blowback on Trump, who was so willing and happy to allow QAnon nonsense to grow and thrive simply because it supported him.
