I’m coming at you LIVE from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where I have been guest-hosting Glenn Greenwald’s show SYSTEM UPDATE this week. It’s been enjoyable so far. Many commenters are telling me they’re quickly becoming “Tracey-pilled.” A clear clamor is growing for me to oust Greenwald in much the same manner that Kamala ousted Joe. My next step is to identify who would represent “Nancy Pelosi” in this scenario. Perhaps Donald Trump Jr.? (LOL)
The first night, I did a little ending segment where I was supposed to be interviewing Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA), who had agreed via staff to come on the show, but then ducked out the last minute, despite my literally seeing him on screen fiddling with his camera. The reasons for this sudden departure remain mysterious. I’m told that Ro would’ve been the first elected Democratic official to appear on the show, which I find bizarre — it’s something I’m trying to remedy. Not because I just love hearing from Democrats, but because I think it’s good if both parties can be directly scrutinized. Briahna Joy Gray hosted most of the show that day, with me swooping in at the conclusion — I had to inform the audience that Ro had aborted. We’ll see if we can get him back on in due course.
The next day I assumed full hosting duties and reviewed Bibi Netanyahu’s address to Congress, with all the endless swooning ovations, and discussed the hyper-militant Trump approach to Israel policy, along with Democrats’ typically cagey approach. Next, I interviewed Kevin Roberts, the head of the Heritage Foundation, which produced the now-notorious “Project 2025” document that Democrats have been furiously screaming about, and Trump has been furiously disavowing. I would wager that it could be the ONLY interview anyone’s conducted regarding Project 2025 that delves into the actual policy substance, with the guy who presided over the document’s creation. Viewers have told me they found the interview illuminating. Then I talked to Max Blumenthal, reporting live from the Bibi security perimeter in DC — we also got into the tensions between “America First” and the GOP’s vociferous embrace of Israel. Again, you can see the whole show here.
Last night, I discussed Joe Biden’s curious speech from the Oval Office in which he explained his decision to withdraw from the presidential race, without actually ever explaining his reasons for withdrawing from the presidential race. Much of the media has already seemed to have conveniently forgotten that Biden said the following in his July 8 letter adamantly denying that he would ever capitulate to “Dem insider” demands for his ouster:
Biden said that if the rebelling “Dem insiders” got their wish, it would completely undermine Dems’ entire argument about “Democracy.” He warned: “How can we stand for democracy in our nation if we ignore it in our own party?” Quickly down the memory-hole all that goes, however, as the Dems’ instruct everyone to rally excitedly behind Kamala. I discussed the fallout, and the Kamala “meme” explosion, with Moe Tkacik, the very good writer and editor at The American Prospect.
Next I had a tantalizing reunion with a former employer of mine, in a strange previous life — Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks, who actually ran for president himself in 2024, and amusingly reminded us that he in fact received more Democratic Primary votes than Kamala Harris! A fun fact of the ages. We also discussed/debated whether Trump really represents an existential threat to “democracy.” Again, the entire episode can be viewed here.
More interesting material will certainly be aired tonight, so tune in live at 7pm EST on Rumble. I will also continue guest-hosting into next week.
Let me know if you have any show suggestions/thoughts/criticisms in the comments, by tweet, or by email.

You and Briahna were WONDERFUl — funny, well informed, fast paces, very professional — my sincere congratulations !!
Of course Zionist trolls (most are not Jewish) will pile in coordinated attack their negative comments…. Just ignore
I've really enjoyed your shows this week, Michael!
You're looking good, &, as always, your questions are excellent.
My only suggestion would be to cut in on some of the guests a bit sooner. It's good to let them have their say, but some of them do seem to ramble on a bit.
I was glad you interviewed the Heritage Foundation guy, because Glenn's Locals peeps have been asking for a show on Project 2025 for weeks. The Blumenthal interview was excellent!
Last night's show with Nick Fuentes was interesting. . . I haven't really cared for Nick ever since I saw him interviewed by Milo Yiannopoulous years ago, when all he did was rail against Jews. He had more to say this time, but wasn't particularly insightful. His cultists on the live chat were very entertaining, though! Wow! They worship the guy! It was a bit disturbing. I had to tell at least 4 of them that you were not Jewish, because that seemed real important to them, for some reason. "Who is this guy? Is he a Jew?!!!"
Good grief.
