Gloria Allred at the Epstein “survivors” rally in front of the US Capitol — September 3, 2025

At the big Epstein Press Conference in front of the US Capitol earlier this month, which co-organizer Thomas Massie subsequently hailed as the biggest press conference in Washington, DC in at least five years, I was able to have a chat with Gloria Allred, the iconic feminist lawyer known for representing females who claim they were sexually victimized by prominent males. She is also a longtime supporter of the Democratic Party and liberal causes, often pursuing litigation in tandem with these political convictions.

Ahead of the 2016 election, Allred and Republican dirty trickster-turned Democratic operative David Brock collaborated to offer legal representation for women making last-minute sexual misconduct claims against Donald Trump. It later came out that Brock “secretly spent $200,000 on an unsuccessful effort to bring forward accusations of sexual misconduct against Mr. Trump before Election Day,” having corralled rich Dem donors to quietly underwrite the effort. Allred and Brock “discussed” how these funds could be channeled to at least one of her Trump-accusing clients. Allred later dumped the client, Summer Zervos, a one-time contestant on Trump’s reality TV show “The Apprentice,” for reasons that were never fully explained.

This made it all the more amusing and bizarre that Gloria Allred was taking part in a high-profile political demonstration that also prominently featured the likes of Marjorie Taylor Greene. Passionately speaking up for “Survivors” at the Epstein Press Conference — and then directing Capitol Police to have me forcibly ejected from the premises — might’ve been the first time in her approximately five years as a nationally-known political figure that MTG’s wild antics were not instantly denounced by the “mainstream media” as Dangerous MAGA Conspiracy Theory Fascism. For that one glorious day, at least — September 3, 2025 — she was instead a heroic advocate for supposedly voiceless “Survivors” of a vast child sex-trafficking network. How sweet.

That Marge could still somehow be in the good graces of Trump, after she was surrounded with garish signage that accused Trump of being a pedophile, would seem a bit strange. In the days after the Press Conference, she desperately tried to distance herself from the “Trump-hating protesters” she said swarmed the event, insisting they had all opposed and chanted against her. (I didn’t hear any such chants, but it’s possible they occurred. Members of the general public who attended were mostly middle-aged “Resistance” types, trying to relive the glory days of 2017, along with a smattering of miscellaneous right-wing people who were also trying to relive the glory days of 2017 — back when they were manically refreshing 4chan for the latest cryptic updates from “Q” regarding the status of secret pedo rings. Very peculiar coalition.)

Marge claimed that “the Capitol Police even had to remove” these Trump-hating protesters, which was supposed to prove she had nothing to do with them. I know she had me removed, but I certainly was not present that day as a “Trump-hating protester.” In fact, I probably asked one of the few questions that was not intended to simply elicit a cheap Trump-hating soundbite. So if she was trying to insinuate that she’d gotten me ejected for being a noisy Trump hater, that would be ironic. “Also, I never saw Gloria Allred,” Marge insisted.

Elsewhere on the event perimeter, mere feet away from Marjorie Taylor Greene, were a group of protesters hoisting signage that blared, “KATIE RAPED AT 13.”

The “Katie” referenced here is “Katie Johnson,” a purported individual who in 2016 accused Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein of violently raping her at 13 years old. “She” made these claims in a sequence of lawsuits, and was represented by lawyer Lisa Bloom, Gloria Allred’s daughter. The lawsuit turned out to be an absolute hoax, concocted by a former Jerry Springer producer named Norm Lubow, who found a second career professionally orchestrating publicity stunts involving big-name celebrities. Norm’s hoaxes include claiming to have sold drugs to OJ Simpson on the day of the 1994 murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, and claiming to have bombshell proof that Courtney Love conspired to murder her husband and Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.

Here is Norm Lubow, the brains behind the fake “Katie Johnson” lawsuit:

And if you can stomach it, here are some of the shocking and revolting claims that were made in his scam lawsuit:

5. Defendant Trump had sexual contact with me at four different parties in the summer of 1994. On the fourth and final sexual encounter with Defendant Trump, Defendant Trump tied me to a bed, exposed himself to me, and then proceeded to forcibly rape me. During the course of this savage sexual attack, I loudly pleaded with Defendant Trump to stop but he did not. Defendant Trump responded to my pleas by violently striking me in the face with his open hand and screaming that he would do whatever he wanted.

6. Immediately following this rape, Defendant Trump threatened me that, were I ever to reveal any of the details of Defendant Trump’s sexual and physical abuse of me, my family and I would be physically harmed if not killed.

7. Defendant Epstein had sexual contact with me at two of the parties that summer. On the second occasion involving Defendant Epstein, Defendant Epstein forced himself upon me and proceeded to rape me anally and vaginally despite my loud pleas to stop. Defendant Epstein then attempted to strike me about the head with his closed fists while he angrily screamed at me that he, Defendant Epstein, should have been the one who took my virginity, not Defendant Trump, before I finally managed to break away from Defendant Epstein.

8. Immediately following this rape, just like Defendant Trump, Defendant Epstein threatened me not to ever reveal any of the details of Defendant Epstein’s sexual and physical abuse of me or else my family and I would be physically harmed if not killed.

So that’s the supposed 13-year-old girl who Marjorie Taylor Greene’s fellow rally-goers were chanting in September 2025 that Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein had brutally, jointly raped.

Here’s a video clip of me trying to engage with these “Katie Johnson” protesters; I was trying to ask them what evidentiary basis they had for proclaiming that Donald Trump is a pedophile. I didn’t make much progress before Capitol Police shooed me away:

Anyway, before the official Press Conference portion of that day’s festivities, Gloria Allred delivered a rousing speech at something that was vaguely being called a “Survivors Rally.” Gloria, very much still kicking at age 84, declared to the assembled crowd: “We’re not talking about pedophiles. We’re talking about sexual predators and child molesters. Let’s get the word in about what the crime was that they committed.”

“Do you agree?” Gloria asked. “Yes!” the crowd whooped.

I’m still not exactly sure what point she was trying to make with the “pedophiles” vs. “sexual predators and child molesters” distinction, but whatever.

Gloria continued: “And finally, let me just say these predators took advantage of vulnerable children, of vulnerable adults. We know how vulnerable women can be.” It is definitely true that an outsized number of publicly-named Epstein “victims” were actually adult women at the time they claim they were sexually victimized, such as Gloria’s fellow rally speaker Lisa Phillips, who claims she was “groomed” at age 21 during her luxurious voyage to Epstein’s private island in the Caribbean.

A few weeks earlier, Gloria had appeared alongside one of her “Epstein Victim” clients at a press conference, in which that “victim” tearfully recounted having her buttocks allegedly groped by Epstein in May 1997, when she showed up to his hotel room in Santa Monica, CA for a Victoria’s Secret lingerie tryout. The “victim,” Alicia Arden, was 27 years old at the time of the alleged encounter. Media outlets who aired a live broadcast of the press conference simply described Arden as yet another generic Epstein “victim,” apparently content to just let the average news consumer glance at the headline and falsely infer that she must’ve been a tormented child sex-trafficking “victim.” It’s a nifty little conflation that journalists and lawyers, like Allred, have been happy to allow proliferate in the current information environment, where everyone’s supreme duty is always to serve as mindless PR amplifiers for purported “victims,” rather than use any critical thinking skills whatsoever about the veracity of their various histrionic claims.

I asked Gloria Allred about this ongoing conflationary exercise in a brief but informative interview that I was able to conduct with her on September 3. To give Gloria credit, she at least didn’t scamper away or throw a fit at the mere thought of having to answer some modestly probing questions. She was one of the very few speakers that day who did not react to me like a big paranoid baby. I also asked her about the Epstein settlement funds, and the recent spate of bad press she’s gotten from the Wall Street Journal over allegedly failing to obtain and disburse settlement payouts to her aggrieved women clients.
