One of the interview segues I’ve been using with Republican elected officials here at the Convention in Milwaukee is to ask if they think there was divine intervention at play in sparing Trump the worst of the would-be assassin’s bullet last weekend.
This is such a tired take. If you want to argue that there have been human rights and Geneva Convention violations fine, but if genocide was the objective they wouldn’t be using ground troops. Israel has nukes amongst other weapons that could wipe Gaza off the map.
These people are all delusional, owned by Israel, & wonderful arguments for term limits.
While watching these interviews, I kept thinking that they sound more like they're representing Israelis, than Americans. While I have no love for Hamas & condemn the atrocities they committed, I also condemn the atrocities & ongoing war crimes committed by Israel. Repeated bombings of refugee camps is unconscionable, whether Israelis "dropped leaflets" or not. It's not like Gazans have any safe places to run to.
Israel obviously owns our Congress. I watch your interviews night after night, & ALL of them profess undying, limitless support for Israel & its "right to defend itself." By the time Israel finishes "defending itself," there may be no Gazans left, which should make Bibi & those nasty Israeli settlers who block aid shipments, very happy.
Those of us that believe in an omniscient omnipresent God would argue this was all Gods will. I am supportive of Israel and detest the Hamas and Hezbollah terrorists. Having grown up with a virulently anti-Semitic father I am very sensitive to it.
I've been watching kirn and taibbi for the last few days while also reading your dispatches. I had a thought while walking my dogs early of you and matt running around the conversation hall together pulling shenanigans on would-be regime media hacks.
Thank you for documenting this — while the US genocide in Gaza continues (Israeli Nazis are just the executioners)

But if Israel nuked Gaza, the radiation cloud would affect Israelis.
They aren't that dumb.
Which is why I said “amongst other weapons”.

What was the excuse for throwing you out? I couldn't make out what they were saying.
Somebody said something about a "2 hour pass" to be on the convention floor, I think.
Not really sure.

Also, Vance is assassination insurance.
