None of the verifiable allegations involved rape. You can read the actual FBI report he attached to one of his articles. The report is from 2019 when further investigations were done, and no one other than Giuffre (unsurprisingly) made such allegations. And Giuffre was a liar (which is why it's unsurprising that she put that idea out into the mainstream). She it literally the liar that gave rise to the fallacy that "men" (plural) as you suggest were having "sex with 16-year olds." That never happened. Even Giuffre was 17 at the time she first met Epstein.

When you actually provide a quote from the actual transcripts or government reports instead of a news article that is making assumptions and mis-using the word "pedophile," then I'll take your word.
The government reports aren’t the best evidence here. Those are summaries of witness statements made by men, mostly, trying to guess if the victims would make good witnesses. The victims were all traumatized by Epstein, who preyed exclusively on the poor and vulnerable because Epstein knew that girls like that would never be able to do anything to him.
Have you read any of the less lurid stuff? I recommend you read the correspondence between Epstein and Larry Summers, just to see how mich contempt powerful men have for women
The claim that Epstein "targeted impoverished girls" is so stupid. It is simply a fact that girls who would give a massage for $200 would be poorer. It is not evidence that Epstein was intentionally targeting the poor. Rich girls simply don't need $200.

As a woman, I would say that crude sexual remarks are protected by the First Amendment and they always have been.
All that means is that the maker can’t be arrested. He can still — and should be — fired and sued into permanent penury for doing that at work.
