Yesterday I moseyed around the Cornell University campus for several hours, and while I spotted no obvious signs of unrestricted Gang Rape — nor was I accosted by any additional Angry Mobs — there were still some clarifying observations to be made.
After years of being called a Putin agent, a pedo defender and all kinds of unpleasant things, Michael saves his harshest riposte for us pedants pointing out that economics is not a hard science.
i live in the ithaca area. everyone here is worried about how this situation will harm the reputation of Cornell. The utter vacuousness of the admin and faculty, brutally described by Michael, demonstrate that they do not deserve an elite reputation. even as a neutral observer, this is painful to watch unfold.
I'm not sure if it's an option on your end as the author, but I appreciate the "listen" option being available for this. I work for myself as a residential contractor and am terribly busy, hardly time to write this, and simply don't have time to read Substack articles. I hardly know why I have the app, all too often I just distegard them because too many authors seem to have this option turned off. I just happened to notice the option was there for this article, and thought I'd offer some positive reinforcement if my assumption that there's a author's choice. I'll be keeping a closer eye out for it going forward.
Your work is appreciated and I think my time would be better spent becoming a paid subscriber than going on any further.
Just incredible. An absolute 💩show. On the one hand it's hilariously stupid yet these are our future "elites". Thank you for the update and thanks for the update on Tara Reade. I'd forgotten all about that nut job.
Cynical opportunists go along with the mob's hysteria. Always holier-than-thou, they use such circumstances to advance their own standing. Typical pattern, sad to see it be effective yet again, especially in institutions ostensibly about knowledge. They obviously don't care at all about the woman at the center of this, they just use her as a symbolic weapon.
