Coming from a post-communist country my perspective is: if we had tore down all schools, hospitals, other public buildings that serve our society just because they were built between 1945 and 1989 and had names of communist patrons (both Polish and Soviet) we wold have been a totally dumb nation. We just simply RENAMED them. Same with many streets. They now have names of honorable people from our history, local community leaders, or even our allies (Poland has streets and buildings in practically any major city that hold the name of Roosevelt, Reagan, Wilson, de Gaulle, Brandt, etc). Tearing down this cabin instead of renaming is 100% totalitarian mindset not freedom mindset.
