Thank you Michael for your extraordinary willingness to absorb abuse to present necessary corrective truths about this issue. Levels of abuse that have scared off literally almost everyone else in the industry.
I agree that the anonymity thing must be destroyed. Defendants have a right of confrontation of the people who accuse them, and alleged victims in other crimes (murder, theft, assault) have no such anonymity in the press. Defendants deserve the right of confrontation in the public press sphere as well.
These kind of sex crimes hinge solely on consent, usually where there are no witnesses except the accuser and the accused. Thus it is essential that any accuser make the claim immediately and publicly. And delayed anonymous claim should be viewed skeptically. In this case we do have multiple witnesses. It will be interesting if the word of the SEVEN accused will bear any weight against the accuser claim. Also, doesn't the Constitution require that one be confronted by the accuser in a public trial?
This mob justice mentally on social media is just deplorable. We can’t even let due process take its course. It’s Lindsay Clansey all over again. Influencers trying to stir a gender shitstorm for clicks. One case it to ‘prove’ how shitty women are in the manosphere and now with this case, all men are being stereotyped as serial rapists and literally seen comments from women that if they have another child and it’s a boy, they are getting an abortion.
