So the actual “meat” of the story is a middle aged guy stated having a mid life crisis and was taking testosterone and started recklessly lusting after the local Palm Beach young college and high school girls? Isn’t this the plot of American Beauty with Kevin Spacey’s character ogling after Menu Suvari? Remember back when this movie came out in 1999 the audience was expected to be sympathetic to Lester Burnham’s plight, not condemn him as a “pedophile.” But then the internet came out, mothers caught their teenage daughters chatting with strangers online, became spooked, and six years later the climate was completely different with the statutory rape moral panic that we still live with today. Epstein just didn’t smell the way the winds were blowing and still thought he was in 1990 when rock stars routinely slept with high school groupies. Everything was trending libertine, gays would soon have weddings and pot shops would be opening in Colorado, I doubt he ever imagined a moral panic about statutory rape was about to break out and he’d become the focus of some 21st century Dreyfus Affair where every last crank projected their own lurid fantasies on the case to implicate their own pet politics into it as co-conspirators.

Chomsky's own wife says he was wrong about Epstein and has apologized to the victims.

Everyone on the planet is apologizing for nothing. In fact, some of his ex-girlfriends who offered to visit him in prison and send nude pictures of themselves to him in 08/09 are claiming to be victims. Looks like everyone on planet Earth is acting retarded.

I apologize on behalf of Chomsky's wife over her apologizing on behalf of someone who can't speak for himself, and I also apologize for apologizing on behalf of Chomsky's wife, who probably won't read this and therefore won't have the opportunity to speak for herself.

As Abraham Lincoln recounted the old story:

“It is said an Eastern monarch once charged his wise men to invent him a sentence, to be ever in view, and which should be true and appropriate in all times and situations. They presented him the words: ‘A̶n̶d̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶,̶ ̶t̶o̶o̶,̶ ̶s̶h̶a̶l̶l̶ ̶p̶a̶s̶s̶ ̶a̶w̶a̶y̶.’ ‘Comment section already filled with retarded people.’”

All this Tracey stuff trying to paint the Epstein affair as a hoax is boring. There were little children in there and a number of them are dead now.

Since I see that Compact has corrected the minor proofreading lapse that Richard points out here, Michael might like to take notice of what, unless I’m completely misreading, is a more substantive one:

The article contains the sentence, “None of this was remotely unforeseeable.”

In context, didn’t you (Michael) mean “foreseeable”? (Or, equivalently, “*All* of this was unforeseeable.”)

(As in the previous paragraph, which has, “He couldn’t have known these things not because he was ignorant of the facts, but because there was never any credible basis to believe such things about Epstein in the first place, then or now.”)

FWIW, when news first broke in the WSJ of the NC-JE connection, I just assumed Chomsky was using Epstein to get access to some high-level Israel-related intel, or behind-the-scenes info… which, it turns out, he did. That matters not a wit to the Left, which is more into pearl clutching than gaining credible knowledge about the real world.

A Sultan in Dubai who is the CEO of Dubai Ports, as well as the head of Hyatt hotels both resigned in shame today over … apparently nothing? Right Tracey?

If you think talking to the creeper @Richard Hanania is going to help make your point, good luck.

I’m not saying he’s convicted or accused of anything … just saying he’s the left’s Matt Gaetz. Creeper vibes require creeper precautions.
