Frost, who was first elected to Congress in 2022 at the ripe old age of 25, and remains the body’s youngest member, soon announced his purpose for seizing the floor that day: he “went online to Reddit, and different websites, to ask folks what I should look at, and what they wanted transparency on, as far as the Epstein Files were concerned.”
In other words, Frost was determined to take full advantage of the Epstein-enthralled uproar that had reached an absolute apex, and demonstrate how in tune he was with the modern infotainment environment, by outsourcing his legislative tasks to the Almighty Algorithm Gods — peace be upon them. “Here today, I wanted to come to the floor to share some of the files that people online have asked me to look into,” Frost declared.
And indeed, you can find the thread he posted on the notoriously crazed r/Epstein subreddit, where he invites the most addled Epstein chroniclers on all the internet to tell him what “files” they deemed most excitable, and desired that he investigate further. The thread is a morbidly useful historical artifact of sorts, as it crystalizes whatever had gone so spectacularly haywire in the cultural, political, and technological firmament circa early 2026.
So out sauntered Frost onto the House Floor, ready to catalogue the top “files” his online correspondents had notified him of, and the steps he’d subsequently taken to decipher any exciting pedo scoops that might’ve been hidden beneath the nefarious DOJ redactions. He began by announcing he’d just gotten done rushing in and out of the DOJ HQ on this Reddit-fueled mission, and was now in a position to valiantly report back with his findings.
