Everyone should listen to the Podcast where Hank Johnson implores the Democrats to treat Trump supporters like "Negroes". His word. Not mine. This is a kind of retributive justice meant to terrorize us and they feel completely justified in doing so. Oddly enough, I used to be a straight ticket Democrat voter my entire life until last year. It started to seem obvious to me that the visceral loathing for Trump in the media and among the Democrats was a kind of emotional metonymy like how people say "The White House" meaning "The President". In other words, they are coming for all of us. The point is the destruction of constitutional rights and the idea of citizenship. Trump was just the first example. The sad thing for America is that right now half the country believes they are enlightened, saintly and above reproach but it's obviously going to be a fire that consumes everything. No one is stopping it. The next fascist leader of humanity will very likely be an insane black lesbian absolutely certain she is leading humanity to a new dawn of prosperity as she annihilates billions of people on behalf of... who? Who is all of this being done for? So, now I am a Trump supporter 100%. We are all Trump.

For reference Hank Johnson was the guy who worried about Guam capsizing due to all the extra military personnel.

The crazy thing is that people think this kind of behavior only started after the War on Terror began. I can think of several prominent examples of the occurring since the early 1920's. See every once in a while, Mr. Federal Government needs to swing his authority boner around, lock up some innocent people, and pretend that he saved the country. Then the legal system usually gets involved and releases them after their lives are ruined, but not always.

1. 1920's labor disputes?

Feds: "We just saved the country from Bolsheviks!" Judge: "Half these people don't even know what Communism is. You violated their Constitutional rights! Release them immediately!" Feds: “So hypothetically, what happens if we already shipped them back to Eastern Europe?”

2. 1960's hippies?

Feds: "We just saved the country from dangerous degenerates!" Judge: "Look the only thing these people are a danger to is personal hygiene. I'm letting them go." Feds: (sad face)

3. 1960’s black militants?

Feds: “These negros pose a danger to this country!” Judge: “You are absolutely right!” (Hey, it was a different time.) Feds: (happy face)

4. 1990's Ruby Ridge?

Feds: "This man is a dangerous white supremacist who murdered federal agents!" Jury: "...and you are free to go." Feds: (sad face)

5. 1990's Waco?

Feds: "Uh, whoops?"

6. 2000's War on Terror?

Feds: "This young Jihadist was planning on murdering Americans! No, we were not involved in the planning, recruiting, or financing for this plot. Why do you ask?"

7. 2010’s Bundy Standoff?

Feds: “These men are dangerous paranoid militia members who are crazy enough to believe that we have them under 24-hour sniper coverage!” Judge: “These documents show that they actually were under 24-hour sniper coverage. Anyway, I am dismissing the case with prejudice.” Feds: (sad face)

8. 2020’s Governor Whitmer Kidnapping Plot?

Feds: "These crazy right wing nut jobs were planning on kidnapping the governor! No, we were not involved in the planning, recruiting, or financing for this plot. Why do you ask?"

9. 2020’s January 6th?

Feds: “Oh boy here we go again!”

What's particularly interesting is you have a variety of actions taking place on that day. In one area, a woman is breaking glass and gets shot in the neck and dies, there's video of LEO's being assaulted while in another area of the campus, police remove the barriers and waive people in...later casually ask people to leave, and they do. Absolute chaos/confusion. I think some people were there to create mayhem and others were simply protesting perceived voting irregularities. That day defies a simple explanation. Some peacefully walked in and out, others got tear gas launched at them. I have not yet seen a single example of anyone armed with a weapon (other than LEOs) but perhaps I missed that part.

Expand full comment

Yep, they found no one who was armed. And considering both the leader of the Proud Boys as well as the Oath Keepers were both FBI informants, I really doubt the FBI didn't already know what was going on before hand. They wanted this to happen - same reason why the cops are seen letting the people in without any opposition. There's even a video where one of the black cops is heard saying "I don't agree with it but I respect it".

I think that heterogeneity, that bizarrely unemulsified mix of different events, is what you get when you take a prepared false flag playbook and try to apply it to spontaneous events.

I still need to read this piece, but I have to quickly comment that I don't for the life of me see what's so bad about that photo, even if it is Pelosi's desk, even if journos didn't ask him to pose there. Why am I so drastically out of touch with the sensibilities of the loudest in this nation? I just don't get it.

Expand full comment

Because ordinary people of any color getting their business burnt down is awesome but lord forbid if someone shames the ruling elites by putting their feet on the elites' desk! Then that becomes domestic terrorism!

Expand full comment

How are Americans not outraged that the picture of terrorism held up to them is an American old man with his feet up on a desk? THAT’S what makes one a terrorist? This screams “we’ve got nothing, so you better believe our lie this photo doesn’t support.” And the masses are like “okey dokey.”

This Gallup poll from September 2020 which shows media trust is at an all time high of 76% in Democrats. Media trust is at an all time low of 10% in Republicans. In 2015, before Trump, the media trust was 32% for Republicans and 55% for Democrats:

Somehow despite all the lies, most democrats continue trusting the media...

Deco, I think the problem is that except in your own personal sphere you get a highly distorted view of what ordinary people think. I had the same take on the image you did. To me its minor misbehavior. There is nothing holy or sacrosanct about any congressional office or desk. But the MSM and Dem pols are totally invested in this being the worst thing to happen since the Civil War. So you'll never get the view of the common man or woman from those clowns.

My neighbor is a staunch liberal Democrat who just told me she thinks Simone Biles has really opened up the conversation about self care and mental illness in this country and it’s wonderful.

She is a Nazi. I am not exaggerating. She is no different from a Party member in 1936 and she thinks what’s happening to the insurrectionists is just fine.

My feeling too. Not one of these lunatics on the left seem to ever pause and say "hmmm what about human rights" and none of them seem to believe in the ideas of the Geneva Convention. They complain about so-called police brutality but then they will absolutely murder anyone who disagrees with them. Sometimes metaphorically. Sometimes literally. Good ideas about how society should function and people's rights should be respected are completely lacking with these people. And yet they seem to love being included in the Party. The are completely committed to it. Which is why people joke about 1984 not being a training manual but a warning. It's North Korean levels of fealty. Biden could summarily execute these Jan 6 guys in public and CNN would talk about how beautiful the ropes used to hang them were.

They sometimes still pay lip service to these ideas but in a literally insane way. Same neighbor agreed something that Jen Psaki said would be bad if she had really said it, after she *had* said it and it was posted on YouTube by CNN. I told her this and she said “I’m sure she didn’t,” and smiled and walked away. She’s a very pleasant and kind person, by the way. Always polite thoughtful, and enthusiastically and vocally approves of Assange being tortured to death without trial.

I wonder what % of the "DNC leftists" were ever really liberal and not authoritarians. Seems like they simply exploit social issues for political purposes and then dump them in the garbage when no longer needed.

Just sitting here thinking about how I got this in depth interview of the lawyer for one of the most recognizable Jan 6 defendants from independent Substack journalist Michael Tracey and haven’t even heard a WHISPER about this from the “mainstream” “legitimate” media sources who I’m supposed to take more seriously.

This was an “insurrection” and as bad a threat to our democracy “as the civil war” but I read easily the most informative and unbridled information about the status of these people from…exactly none of the sources I’m repeatedly told I can only trust.

Thank you MT for doing, ya know, actual MF journalism. Easiest $5 a month I’ve ever spent.

Michael, to your knowledge, has anyone investigated all of these police “suicides?”

Sevender Ive wondered the same thing.

Ive been hearing left wing talk shows laughing about these guys only getting an hour a day out of isolation and being beaten. I can’t believe this can ever be a laughing matter. Makes me ashamed. Who are the democrats anymore

Some perspective: suicide is a big problem among police officers in general. https://www.addictioncenter.com/news/2019/09/police-at-highest-risk-for-suicide-than-any-profession/ A cop is 3 times more likely to die of suicide than in the line of duty. Doesn't explain the USCP suicides following 1-6 but it still must be looked at within the larger picture.

Expand full comment

Mmhmm. So what is the statistical likelihood of a police suicide in a group of that size?

Expand full comment

From the linked article: "13 out of every 100,000 people die by suicide in the general population – that number increases to 17 out of 100,000 for police officers." So cops are about 30% more likely than the public at large to commit suicide. But this does nothing to explain the five USCP that have been reported.

They should put Bill DiBlasio on the case. He lets felons out of jail because covid.

This entire thing is an embarrassment - this clumsily orchestrated false flag is what they'll use to rewrite the code so they can arrest whoever they want. Then contempt is for the CNNMSNBCNYTIMES crowd who laugh and cheer because of the Orange Guy was 'responsible'.

Don't worry, the lawyers will save us. /s Statistics show that liberal judges incarcerate black people for far longer terms for the same crimes. They claim its because they can't afford lawyers, as if that's a legitimate excuse. So much for elite liberalism.
