What the ouster of Joe Biden seems to have indisputably proven, although it was never such a mystery, is that the Democratic Party is completely captive to elite consensus; in fact, it’s effectively synonymous with elite consensus.
I think you have said it perfectly. However, I think you could expand on this theme, which seems to go all the way back to the beginning of her political career, when she was chosen by California Elites to run against the current DA, who was investigating these elites, especially Willie Brown, for corruption. It is rather increíble for this sort of thing to happen twice in a single person’s political career. Either lightning has managed to strike for her or she as an equally rare and unlikely talent. One could understand it if she were in any way appealing or had an ounce of charisma. But she doesn’t, and maybe it is here, in her vacuousness, that the secret hides. In both cases she was chosen by elites because she is so empty of conviction and willing to do anything to advance her career. This is the line along which I would love to hear you expand. And I am sure you have much more to add.
"The group that nominated Putin included top officials from the ruling United Russia party, prominent Russian actors and singers, athletes and other public figures."
hmmmmm
With just a small tweak - we get...
The group that nominated Harris included top officials from the ruling Democratic Party, prominent American actors and singers, athletes and other public figures.
There was a time when anything with Russian Hallmarks was really bad.
Nice refresher on the 2020 dem primaries. Brings back memories of when, after being named vp nominee by biden, she was asked about how she could team up with someone she had called a racist during a debate. She just cackled crazily saying "it's a debate!! it's a debate!! ha ha ha!!".
I still don't understand why black people vote for Democrats.
The Dems don't seem to do anything for them, other than pander like mad every 4 years. Sure, they appoint a few highly educated black people into advisory roles, but what do their policies ever actually *do* for most black folks? It's like all Dem candidates have to do is show up at a couple of black churches, suddenly adopt a truly awful southern dialect, & they get the votes! They can even be insulting (". . . or you ain't black!"); demeaning ("They wanna put y'all back in chains."); clearly racist (“I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”); or just downright dumb (Hillary claiming to carry hot sauce in her bag). It doesn't seem to matter.
I had older, poor white relatives living in rural Arkansas, though, who had been voting Democrat since FDR, though, so maybe it just gets to be a habit with some people.
Michael, a suggestion for the show: of course Trump and the question if he's really gonna stop the Nato-Russia war over Ukraine, while all he and the Republicans say is just that it is EU/Europe that should cover most of the costs of this debacle, since they say it is Europe's problem (which is bullshit, because it is USA's investment from start to end).
And Europe will oblige and already is, so how will Trump sell his story of ending the war ? Or even if he genuinely wanted to, will the deep state and the media apparatus let him ? Or he won't do it, cuz there's too much dough to rake in for the MIC...

It's like there's no *there* there.
She never seems genuine.
The Democratic nomination of Harris has all the hallmarks of the Russian nomination of Putin.
Per the AP, here is a link to the story that explains how the Russians do it.....

I think you should be able to mention your Substack while hosting Glenn's show.
If you were on as a guest, he would ask you for it.

Heh heh.
Nice!
