Exiting the Manhattan federal courthouse yesterday, I tweeted:
I was sleep deprived at the time, so now having recuperated somewhat, here are some expanded thoughts. (You can’t bring in any electronic devices, so I filled up almost an entire hand-written notebook.)
This proceeding, wherein each of the three Alexander Brothers were sentenced to 30 years in prison, was such an abomination on so many levels, it’s genuinely hard to know where to begin. But perhaps we can start with the American court system. Because no (sane) person would ever again have the nerve to ridicule the allegedly inferior legal systems of other countries — UK, Canada, France, whatever — if they had the misfortune of sitting through that shit-show in Manhattan yesterday: a seven-hour parade of unbridled, judicially-sanctioned lunacy.
Judge Psycho (Valerie Caproni) let a slew of literally pink-haired “victims” stand up and curse the Brothers in the name of Hashem — no, not a joke — and ramble incoherently about their “healing modalities” and astrology journey. Many or most of these purported victims were allowed to proceed under fake names, making it difficult for anyone with non-privileged information to have the slightest chance of verifying a single detail about anything they tearfully fulminated.
One government-declared and self-professed “victim,” who didn’t testify at trial, and therefore should not have even been Constitutionally permitted to speak, is an “actress” of some sort who’s apparently putting together some kind of Streaming Service TV series. She showed up yesterday with a gay male friend to collect and/or generate story material. This is the kind of shit that Judge Psycho allowed.
Another “victim” who did testify at trial, and was completely nuts, alluded to the Brothers somehow vaguely committing MURDER, as well as allegedly “slut-shaming” her own mother (???) — whatever the hell that means. The judge just smugly sat there the whole time, looking very pleased with herself. This supposed victim also weirdly praised the judge’s red eyeglasses, which she took to be an iconic fashion statement, and relayed that wherever she goes now, she always spots women wearing red eyeglasses, and this gets her all excited.
To clarify: the judge REALLY seemed to be enjoying herself. Like, way too much. So many snide little remarks, so many snippy little ripostes. There was a jovial colloquy she instigated with one of the Defense Lawyers about whether Judaism is a Matriarchal or Patriarchal religion (🙄). It almost made me want to believe an actual Anti-Semitic conspiracy had been hatched against the Brothers. Well — not really. It was more just Judge Psycho clearly on a wrathful warpath to put these former Party Boys in their place, and inflict maximum “accountability” to avenge the benighted “survivors.” The only reason she didn’t give them all life in prison, she said, is that she doesn’t do that as a matter of principle... or rather, as she confusingly explained, she declines to do this if she can detect even the faintest “hope” that a defendant might someday “atone.” But she expressed severe pessimism that the Brothers would ever arrive at atonement, since they continue to maintain their innocence, including at yesterday’s hearing. A few weeks ago, this disturbed and disturbing jurist took it upon herself to issue a sua sponte order — meaning one that was not even requested of her by any party, i.e. the government — in which she demanded that the Brothers be incarcerated at separate penal institutions, since she claims they are such “bad influences” on one another.
As to the Brothers’ actual culpability for any purported crimes, they rose from their seats yesterday and adamantly professed their innocence. Two of the three wept as they did this, and begged for mercy. (The “mercy” requested was a mere 15 years in prison, the mandatory minimum.) All steadfastly insisted that they did not rape, drug, or “traffic” anyone. Mind you, when they were convicted in March 2026, it was not for “rape” — which is not even something the Feds typically have jurisdiction to prosecute. Rather, they were convicted of “sex trafficking,” and on the basis of a novel cockamamie theory that the government invented specifically to go after them. The theory is totally bonkers, but was validated each step of the way by Judge Psycho. I briefly referenced an element of the theory in this July 2 article, which quoted a jury instruction from Judge Psycho:
It would not be a major stretch to say that in 2026, a “thing of value” is more like an amorphous metaphysical condition than anything which must necessarily exist in the observable, material world. Here is what Judge Valerie E. Caproni instructed jurors in the trial of the Alexander Brothers in March 2026, as to what elements must be proven to establish a “sex trafficking” conspiracy:
The “thing of value” given or received in connection with the sex act need not involve a monetary exchange and it need not have any financial component; instead, it may be any tangible or intangible thing of value, including, for example, recreation or entertainment. The thing of value can be given to or received by any person, including the victim. Whether a thing has value depends on the recipient’s subjective view of the purported “thing of value.”
Got that? We’re so far past the “thing of value” needing to have any old-fashioned “financial component” that we’re hurtling deeper and deeper into the mystical realm of “intangibility,” where a “thing of value” can now be “recreation” or “entertainment.” Whatever that might mean to any given individual. But it doesn’t stop there! Whether the “thing” in question is seen as “recreational” or “entertaining” depends solely on the “subjective view” of the recipient — and is therefore immune to any non-subjective evaluation methods. You could theoretically give me a crumpled-up piece of scrap paper, or even a steaming hot pile of dog shit, and if I, as the “recipient,” subjectively perceive what you have given me as containing some intangible “value,” tough luck, because that would satisfy a crucial element of the “sex trafficking” statute. And oh, by the way, it doesn’t even have to be the “victim” who receives the valuable pile of dog shit! My dumbass friend could receive it, ascribe it with subjective value, and this could suffice to prove I was victimized in your “sex trafficking” conspiracy.
Given how nonsensical the application of the “sex trafficking” statute was in this case, one would think the Brothers’ conviction would be ripe for appeal — but as usual, appellate judges will almost certainly vindicate the vengeful ravings of Judge Psycho, and all of society will be saddled with yet another extreme expansion of ideologically-radicalized “trafficking” law.
Right as the whopper of a prison sentence was about to get handed down, and Judge Psycho was delivering her closing retributive remarks, she decided to throw in some random gratuitous references to other alleged instances of sexual impropriety by high-profile males. “Cornell Gang Rape” drama had clearly been front of mind for her as of late, so she shoehorned that in out of nowhere — first reciting the sensational and increasingly-discredited allegations in the initial Jane Doe civil complaint, as though it were settled fact, before she seemed to belatedly catch herself, and tacked on a perfunctory little “alleged” qualifier. She made no such qualifiers with her invocation of Harvey Weinstein, who it’s at least true has been convicted of some offenses, but she omitted the possibly relevant context that Weinstein just had one of the marquee charges against him dismissed earlier this year, after a lengthy and laborious mistrial.
If nothing else, Judge Psycho’s random scurrilous rant about these extraneous, non-relevant cases showed exactly where her head was at — she was bitterly determined to induct the Alexander Brothers into the same ignominious “powerful male sex predator” pantheon, as this would give her all the more reason to anvil-drop them with the most punitive viable sentence: 30 years in the can for each Brother, followed by 10 years of supervised release, as well as huge fines: $300,000 for two of them, $350,000 for the other, plus all manner of additional fees, as required by various “trafficking” statutes — on top of even more financial penalties via forfeiture / restitution, exact amounts yet to be calculated. “It feels like an atomic bomb has been dropped on my life,” said Tal Alexander, in the first public remarks any of them had made since December 2024, when they were all hauled off by rifle-toting Feds in one of those classic early morning show-of-force raids. Judge Psycho certainly had no interest in containing or remotely mitigating any of this “Atomic Bomb” fallout — only to make it hurt as much more as she felt she responsibly could.
But it was really those creepy Cornell and Weinstein asides that most vividly displayed her whole MO with this case from the outset. After they’d fruitlessly tried begging her for mercy, Judge Psycho was unfazed, and duly excoriated the Brothers as “sadistic, misogynistic sexual predators.” She announced that lest there be any doubt, she firmly personally believed they had maliciously “drugged” their supposed victims over the course of this multi-year “sex trafficking conspiracy” they had orchestrated, or rather, as the government had novelly conjured — even though there was never a shred of direct evidence for any “drugging” beyond the prosecutor-massaged, long-after-the-fact purported memories of purported “victims.” She declared she was likewise convinced that the Brothers had brutally “trafficked, raped, and sexually assaulted” untold numbers of females, hence her opening up the floodgates for anyone and everyone to saunter in yesterday for the ridiculous “victim impact” struggle session — the very existence of which is an affront to all good (or rational) sense. These ladies were thus given free rein to rattle off whatever un-corroborated and non-cross-examined claims they wanted to about the Brothers. Following this fanfare, Judge Psycho wasted no time condemning the Brothers as “monstrous,” akin to “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde,” as well as “shameful and degenerate” — she pointed to text messages from decades ago in which they had sometimes made crude quips about women. Example: one brother (then in his early 20s) once called them “bitches and hoes.”
Judge Psycho’s final stirring oration from the bench featured a cliche that people of her rabid ideological dispensation often love to blurt out: that “rape is and always has been about power.” While this commonly-heard slogan might sound nice to some, empirically it seems to be a load of total hogwash, but that’s a discussion for another time. What really seemed to rile her was that the Brothers had the temerity to continue to profess their innocence, and even went to trial in the first place — clearly something that stuck in the craw of Judge Psycho. She obviously treated it as an aggravating factor to justify the harshness of her sentence, even though she superficially denied that she was imposing any kind of “Trial Tax,” which was not believable.
For the record, if we really want to talk about “misogyny” here, I couldn’t help but notice Judge Psycho was especially nasty to the younger female defense attorneys, and substantially less nasty with the men. She kept constantly interrupting Deanna Paul, who represents one of the Brothers, with all these petty little interjections of contrived exasperation, to pepper her with a torrent of condescending little rejoinders.
Arguably the most insane thing of all was that Judge Psycho permitted the side of the public gallery filled with “victims” and “victim supporters” to turn into a literal cheering section. Like, they could just break out into open applause whenever they wanted. If you’ve ever been to federal court (or virtually any court) you know that 99 times out of 100 a judge will admonish anyone in the public gallery for making any noise whatsoever. But this proceeding became a de facto sporting-type event, with the “victim” spectators routinely clapping and hooting for the home team. It was like Yankee Stadium, if the Yankees were the “Survivors” and the Judge was Derek Jeter. (Or I guess more fittingly, Aaron Judge.)
During one of the ridiculous exchanges the judge decided to instigate over theological matters pertaining to Judaism — the Brothers are observantly Jewish, it should go without saying — she managed to toss in a nice little zinger that generated a big roar of applause from the “victim” pep rally section. It came right in the middle of an admittedly unusual argument from defense lawyer Marc Agnifilo; he was trying to explain that the Brothers’ families would face extreme hardship from their protracted incarceration, in part because Judaism has certain “patriarchal” features — or in more simplified terms, the Brothers’ small children need their father; each have sons or daughters ranging from around one to five years old. So by putting the Brothers in a penitentiary for longer than is sensible, the resulting harms would be compounded by the absence of paternal religious leadership, in addition to standard interpersonal and familial strife. It’s a little peculiar that there needed to be an extended tangent about the Book of Deuteronomy in a federal Sentencing Hearing… but, that happened. At which point Judge Psycho took it upon herself to snidely interject: “I want to say, you’re Jewish if your mother is Jewish.” A snickering little retort that the “victim” crowd contingent really loved a lot, as it prompted them to cheer loudly for their Team Captain, in an outburst that led Judge Psycho not to scold them for their presumably out-of-order noise-making, but to simply give them a wry, knowing smile. Bear in mind: Court Staff always go out of their way to sternly inform all general-public attendees that they dare not even make a peep during these proceedings, or they’ll be immediately ejected and perhaps arrested — but this standard rule was brazenly flouted by the judge herself yesterday, apparently so she could bask in the audibilized accolades of all her new fans.
Also consistently obnoxious: the Government’s moralizing charge that the Defense was hell-bent on “shaming” and “re-victimizing” the purported victims. As though to point out mitigating facts and evidence related to these women’s florid testimony was an inherent affront to justice, morality, and all that is right in the world. They (or specifically Assistant United States Attorney Elizabeth Espinosa) over and over again went out of their way to denounce the Constitutionally-protected practice of presenting exculpatory information as just another “disgusting attempt to blame the victim[s] for their own victimization.”
Here’s an oddly similar-looking prosecutor, Madison Reddick Smyser, who was also on the case:

Another wrinkle: of course there was an “Epstein connection,” because there’s always an “Epstein connection” to everything. While the trial was underway in January/February of this year, the “Epstein Files” mass-dump happened, and certain materials referencing the Alexanders were discovered in the gargantuan online archive. These “files” showed some random woman had apparently called up the FBI in August 2019 to report some kind of sexual violation by Epstein, and also claimed the Alexander Brothers had attacked her at one of Epstein’s rambunctious parties (which Epstein never in fact threw) — and furthermore, that the Bros had raped an unidentified 14-year-old:
Sketchily, certain Feds resurfaced this info in August 2025 as they were preparing for the Alexander trial:
This newly unearthed Epstein-Alexander stuff was then promptly tweeted out by Jake Tapper among others. (Probably because Jake was just reflexively searching for “Trump” and happened upon it — note the ludicrous Trump/Clinton mentions). So with all the Epstein media hoopla going on in the middle of their trial, another purported Alexander Bro victim apparently saw something on social media that connected the Bros with Epstein, and was suddenly inspired to testify against them. The government never ultimately called her though, oddly, even though the judge would’ve eagerly allowed it. Nonetheless, this strange new accuser was included on the list of purported victims that prosecutors cobbled together for sentencing — see “Victim-29” [redacted] below — but she didn’t show up yesterday, either. Whoever the heck she is. 🤔
The defense motioned for a mistrial in February as a result of this eleventh-hour Epstein Files disruption, which of course was instantly rejected by Judge Psycho. Here’s an excerpt from their response this month to the government’s Pre-Sentencing Report:
All but three of the individuals on the above government list were afforded fake names. Yet identifiable nowhere on that list, and a surprise last-minute struggle session participant yesterday, was this person:
Lexi had a gay male friend with her named Mike/Michael who I spoke to a bit. He said he was a fellow actor, and was looking forward to potentially getting a part in the forthcoming serial TV drama Lexi is trying to produce — he told me they’ve already had lots of conversations with potential co-writers and so forth. Mike/Michael asked if I had seen the new “Peacock” documentary on the Alexander Bros saga, which just came out this past weekend; Lexi reportedly plays a starring role. No, I told him, I definitely had not seen it. I do not watch that shit. This scourge of fake “documentaries” now plagues every popular media platform — I would never voluntarily watch one unless there’s something specific I unfortunately need to look for. Especially sleazy is that Peacock / NBC Universal apparently timed this propagandocumentary’s release for right before the sentencing date. (Somehow there are already a bunch of these stupid f*cking “documentaries” about the “Cornell 7,” or at least one that was thrown together at warp-speed by ABC/Hulu, which someone recently notified me about.)
Mike/Michael said while the purported offenses committed against Lexi occurred around 2015, he only heard about her claimed victimization once she started posting on social media about it in 2024. No doubt Lexi will use her moving “experience” at yesterday’s court proceedings to further dramatize whatever “experiences” she’s planning to showcase in her forthcoming “memoir” and TV series. She was permitted to speak because the judge expressly allowed “victims” of uncharged conduct to flood in and say whatever the hell they wanted, with no checks whatsoever — forget cross-examination. It’s a totally pernicious extra-Constitutional practice to begin with, turbo-charged in the Southern District of New York by the comparably absurd Ghislaine Maxwell sentencing in 2022.
Please note: Lexi would’ve been around 25 years old when her purported sexual traumas were inflicted, so we’re not talking about anything to do with a child or even “minor” here. Yet when she stood up to speak her truth, she bewailed all these ambiguously bad things that were supposedly done to her “at such a young age.” Including that Tal Alexander had once purportedly said to her “you’re my girl now,” and she was desperately hoping that “at some point he will love me.” Instead, she explained, he “hurt her baby sister” (she didn’t specify how) and also started “pressuring” her to “sleep with men he did business with.” To which she apparently obliged? Who the hell even knows — none of this testimony had ever been adversarially vetted before yesterday. But one thing led to another, and Lexi claimed she underwent extensive (quack) “EMDR” therapy, which evidently gave her such profound quacked-out insights as “Truth lives in the body” and “My body remembered what my mind had buried.” Though she never specifically alleged physical rape, unlike many of the other purported victims, she did turn her gaze to the Brothers at one point and denounce them for “the myriad of ways you tried to rape my spirit.” She also repudiated them for initially assuming she must be friendly when the 2024 public accusations started to snowball: “I do not work with the devil,” she declared, “I work with God.” She finished up by proclaiming “I am a survivor.”
As zany as that was, perhaps the wildest speech of all came from someone pseudonymously referred to as “Ava Wells” — a pink-haired Israeli woman who claimed the Brothers did all kinds of bad stuff to her in Israel. “Much like the full moon over our sky last night,” she began, there was also a full moon on the night of March 23, 2016, when the Brothers allegedly did all this bad stuff to her. After the purported harrowing incident, she said she “searched online for answers,” and found herself immersed in “astrology,” among other “healing modalities.” She denounced one or more of the Brothers for having “the audacity to go to a mikva” after whatever bad stuff they had purportedly done to her that night, which only made it sting even worse, because she felt like she’d been “betrayed” by a member of her “own community” (Jewish). For this, she cursed the Brothers in the name of Hashem. Yes, that really happened.
Strangely, this woman apparently didn’t think much about the March 2016 incident until eight years later, when the public accusations started to mount — a development she claimed would “fundamentally shift the entire paradigm I was living in.” (Prior to then, she said, she thought whatever occurred had only been an “isolated incident.”) But as the media began to “expose” all the “perversions” the Brothers had allegedly engaged in, she said her “body went into numbness,” and she “plummeted” into extreme mental instability. It was only through “dialectical therapy” and other emergency interventions that was she was barely able to survive — and ultimately, triumph. “I am so proud of myself for bravely testifying,” she declared, meaning at the criminal trial earlier this year, even though the experience had reportedly wrought such emotional havoc that she underwent “severe digestive and hormonal issues,” and was forced to watch helplessly as “precious months of my reproductive life passed me by.” Her marriage suffered. But she was thankful in the end, because it finally enabled her, after ten agonizing years, to “metabolize” all the bad stuff the Bros allegedly did to her. “That one night had shaped the course of my life,” she realized in 2026, and she was here today to tell us that she’s reclaimed both her “voice” and the “power that is [her] birthright.”
Weirdly, when the whole spectacle finally wrapped up and everyone was emptying out of the courtroom, I spotted a senior-looking officer lingering in the hallway outside the chamber — his attire identified him as a member of the NYPD / FBI joint “Human Trafficking Task Force.” What’s that all about? Was this fella there to make sure nobody was being “trafficked” in and out of a highly secured federal facility?
I still have many more pages’ worth of this insanity documented in my notebook, but I think you get the idea.

Can we please get some more info about what evidence there is against the Alexander Brothers?
Is there any good evidence they raped or drugged people at all? Or is the evidence so flimsy that they were forced to resort to prosecuting them for "trafficking"?
I’m reading “The Witches” by Stacy Schiff, about the Salem Witch Trials, and this trial doesn’t sound far off from what happened in 1692:
1. Extremely partial judges
2. Insistence on your own innocence is considered to be evidence of your guilt and, further, your lack of remorse
3. Chaos in the courtroom (in Salem, it would come in the form of accusers feigning being harmed in real time by the alleged witches)
“Sexual predators” are the new bogeyman under everyone’s bed. It would be amusing if it weren’t resulting in long prison sentences for convicts who should’ve been granted mistrials, or in some cases not been tried at all!
